I have read the applicant's application dated 25 July 2025 filed under a certificate of urgency of even date. I am satisfied that the application is urgent. I direct that the application be served, but in view of the impending High Court August recess, I direct that the response to the application be filed and served within 14 days of the date of service of the application and thereafter the applicants' submissions be filed and served within 14 days of the date of service of the response. The respondents' submissions shall be filed and served within 14 days of the date of service of the applicant's submissions. The application shall be mentioned in the new term on 15 October 2025. In the meantime, and pending the determination of the application, stay of execution is granted on condition that the decretal sum is deposited either in court or in an interest-earning bank account in the joint names of the respective counsel's firm of advocates for the appellant and the respondents within 30 days of the date of this order.
