I have considered the applicant's application dated 2 April 2025. It is not clear from the application who the exporter of the goods in issue is. The affidavit in support of the application and the suit has been sworn, not by an agent of the purported exporter but by a clearing agent. I am not satisfied that the application is urgent even if it is assumed that there is a proper suit before court. Accordingly, I direct that the application be served to the parties and also upon the Kenya Ports Authority and the Kenya Revenue Authority. Hearing on 15 July 2025. It is so ordered.
