RULING
I have seen and considered the Originating Motion dated 18th July 2024, the grounds thereof and the affidavit of CPL Isaac Nakitare sworn in support of the motion on even date.
I am satisfied that there are reasonable grounds to believe that the sum of Kshs. 850,940.40 held in account No. 0161186686 in Absa Bank held in the name of the Respondent herein is proceeds of crime. In the premises, the Originating Motion herein is allowed and prayers 2 and 3 of the motion granted as prayed
The order shall be for a period of 90 days as provided in Section 84 of the POCAMLA and shall be served upon the Respondent within 21 days of this order.
