I have considered the Originating Motion dated 6th November 2024, and I am satisfied that there are reasonable grounds to believe that the funds in the two bank accounts Nos.03103686906150 at I & M Bank and No. 015000010518 at Family Bank and Account. No. 1252565194 at the KCB Bank are proceeds of crime. In the premises a preservation order is issued prohibiting the Respondents and the Interested Party, their employees, agents or anyone acting on their behalf from transacting, withdrawing, transferring and/or dealing in any manner howsoever with the funds or any profits or benefits derived or accrued from the funds in those accounts.
The preservation order shall be for a duration of ninety (90) days as provided in Section 84 of the POCAMLA and shall be served upon the Respondents and the Interested Party within 21 days of today.
