The Applicant has filed an application seeking extension of time to file a debt claim under the Limitation of Actions Act (Chapter 22 of the Laws of Kenya). I doubt that this court has jurisdiction to extend time in respect of debts and contracts. Even if I was wrong, the Applicant is at liberty to file suit and the issue will be determined substantively. The application 14.09.2022 lacks merit and is struck with no order as to costs.
