I have the applicant's application dated 29 July 2025 filed under a certificate of urgency of even date. While, in exercise of its appellate jurisdiction, this Honourable Court may stay execution of an order or a decree pending the hearing of an appeal, it is doubtful that it has jurisdiction to grant a temporary injunction pending the hearing of an appeal or an application within an appeal. It may also not grant a stay of execution against a dismissal order. In these circumstances, I am not satisfied that the application is urgent. I direct that the same be served for directions on its disposal on  14 October 2025. It is so ordered.
